Tectonic movements plays very important role for the oil system.Mainly in terms of formation and destruction. In each time tectonic movements will control the formation of petroleum,petroleum migration and accumulation. studies for the structural characteristics and tectonic evolution which has an extremely important significance to looking for oil. In Jianghan Basin in Hubei Province Qianjiang Depression. The WangChang,GuangHua, Haokou three places, Paleogene Qianjiang Formation of oil-bearing formation. These places Paleogene Qianjiang group is the mainly oil-bearing layer. Previous studies mainly for local construction. The past seismic interpretation are used to be smal.however, Unable to grasp the overall structure and evolution of the region, therefore, Jianghan Oilfield Company, Sinopec Corp. conducted a study topic is "The analysis of Jianghan Basin and new areas of exploration potential evaluation". I participated in the Wangguang Hao 3D seismic contiguous interpretation analysis and use this to do research. Before the studyanalysis. Jianghan Oilfield Geophysical Research Institute has completed merging processing of seismic data. This thesisanalysis is mainly in contiguous seismic interpretation, structural characteristics studied and tectonic evolution analysisanalysis.This thesis has been completed:synthetic seismograms 11 wells,seismic data interpretation 468km2 x 6 layers,velocity analysis 3 wells.Draw 5 pictures of the region structure-Figure.1 picture of the development-section. By the method of data quality analysis. The quality of seismic data is divide into three categories. According to seismic reflection configuration and the wave group characteristics, The synthetic seismogram and integrated speed drowned identified six seismic-geologic horizons. These six layers was tracked by all the working area.At last draw the six reflective layer structure map and palaeogeomorphology picture.Study on the structural characteristics WangguangHao-contiguous 3D seismic. From the beginning to the end to explain the fault number is one hundred and fifty-six, and summarizes six kinds of fault combination style in section:stepped faults, graben fault combinations,horst combination of faults and Y-shaped combination of reverse faults. There are three kinds of flat-style combination:parallel combination of faults,enechelon fault combinations and the skew combination of fault. Take the statistical analysis of the main fault which number is fifty-eight, and pointed out the fault characteristics of GuangHua, BengHu and other major faults. At last, points out the role of the main fault to control the deposition.By analyzing the development section, we can study the tectonic evolution of the work area. That before the deposit of the Upper Eocene Qianjiang Group in Qianjiang set of four,the layer is gentle, and HaoKou,GuangHua fault begains to activite; After this period has been to the front of the Upper Eocene Qianjiang Group in Qianjiang set of two,Haokou fault activity becomes weak,Guanghua faulting gradually become stronger.Continued until late latent three sections of the Upper Eocene Qianjiang Group in Qianjiang set of three to cease their activities; Before the deposition of the Upper Eocene Qianjiang Group in Qianjiang set of one, because of the plastic flow of salt rock extrusion, Guanghua and HaoKou area had slightly elevated. At this time the Haokou fault begans to activite; Before the deposition of the Neogene Guanghua Temple group. Termination today, by the influence of rock salt, increasing uplift of the study area’s layer. Haokou fault’s activity gradually becomes strong. Finally, Form the tectonic framework of Wangguang-Hao in today.The study on the status plays an important roles in improve the level of exploration and expand the old exploration areas of Jianghan Oilfield.
