In recent years, the oil production in Mo Bei reservoir faces many problem, such as low production efficiency, low water displacement efficiency, high saturation of residual oil, strongly interlayer contradictions and so on.so it’s the time to adopt chemical methods to improve the recovery ratio. Surfactant flooding as the important ways to enhance oil recovery have the ability to low the water-oil interfacial tension, improve the efficiency of displacement, it’s actually rare to use this methods to high temperature formation although surfactant flooding is a common way to improve the recovery of low permeability reservoirs.On the basis of extensive research literature and understanding the Geological characteristics and development situation, we put enormous energy to the research that learn the regular of surfactant flooding. (1) Screen suitable surfactant by evaluating the IFT with reservoir oil. (2) investigating the thermal-stability of surfactant. (3) Observe and study the wettability and emulsification of the working system solution. (4) the adsorption character of screened surfactant has been measured (5) The imbibition ability of surfactant has been researched. (6)studying the surfactant flooding characters by physical simulation experiment. Experiments show the screened surfactant working system have excellent ability to fulfill the demand of field production.
