With the continuous development of modern machinery industry, more accurate, morecomplex parts and fixtures to meet the increasingly high demand for the industry, andthose parts are difficult to machined by the traditional machining methods. Machining thecomplex curved surface by traditional machine tool of wire electro discharge machining(WEDM) additional NC worktable which offers the linkage of rotation and swing is one ofthe most effective methods. This paper is supported by the science foundation of ouruniversity on the research of “complex curved surface system of WEDM applied research andprocessing quality control”. Based on previous theoretical studies, a machining is developed,and the original NC worktable have been improvement designed. Various factors affecting themachining complex curved surface system of WEDM was analyzed through processingexperiment, The work consists mainly of the following headings:(1) Based on the high-speed WEDM the practicality machining complex curved surfacesystem of WEDM was developed;(2) The original NC worktable have been improvement designed to Eliminating thebacklash, thereby the processing stability and the precision of the system is improving.(3) Experiment by the machining complex curved surface system of WEDM andPreparing for the Processing quality testing.(4) Various factors affecting the machining complex curved surface system of WEDMwas analyzed.
