| The dispersant is a surfactant which can maintain the particle stable in the suspension. Terpolymers polycarboxylate dispersants have been synthesized and study its application in inorganic powders and water dispersible granule.Innovative use of acrylic acid, maleic anhydride and methyl methacrylate as monomers, synthesized three different types of carboxylate polymeric dispersants by changing methacrylic acid ester monomers. The structures of them were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance.The effects of different type of dispersant and dispersant concentration on the suspension rate of Al2O3granules were studied. Zeta potential was measured for each of the Al2O3suspension and analyzed the experimental results of dispersion properties. The result showed when the dosage of dispersant was2%, the suspension rate reached the maximum value and the value of Zeta potential reached the maximum.The application of the three dispersants was explored in water dispersible granules (WDG) and water soluble granule (WSG) such as80%Dimethomorph WDG,65%simetryne·prometryne WDG,75%hexazinone WSG and so on. The study showed that when the best dosage of the dispersants was3%-4%. The80%Dimethomorph WDG and65%simetryne· prometryne WDG had highest suspensibility and Zeta potential reached the maximum. Compared with Rhodia T/36, the obtained WDG with our dispersants has the better properties, such as dispersion, anti-hard water and heat storage capacity. In the75%hexazinone WSG with5%dispersant, the WSG can dissolute completely in the four times up and down at room temperature. It must have very well potential applications in the pesticides field. |
