With our country increasing levels of economic exploitation and utilization efficiency of mineral resources has become a major national development process issues. Although China has made some achievements in terms of resource use, but many aspects of theoretical research and practical applications compare with the world’s advanced level are still some gaps. This paper, based on the development process as well as a domestic flotation beneficiation technology company Yunnan flotation process of the situation background, made a targeted design and advanced control methods to achieve intensive utilization of mineral resources.This paper first introduces the flotation system process, from the overall analysis of the various sub-processes for automatic control demand profiles, and then conducted a systematic flotation plant design. Then, the targeted level of flotation machine systems issues in depth, and in the PID algorithm combing the basis of ordinary and common characteristics of the intelligent control methods, analyzes and screening to determine the level of control in this topic program given on the flotation process flotation machine level to maintain the stability of adaptive fuzzy control significance. In this paper, considers the stability of the flotation machine level, with Modbus communication way between PLC and PID controller, designs a fuzzy algorithm control system with parameters adaptable, in Matlab in the traditional PID control and adaptive PID control effect do a compariso.Finally, it gives the design process with the fuzzy PID program in the PLC, achieves a PID adaptive process in the PLC and smart meter network. Based on Matlab simulation and actual operating conditions, it shows that adaptive fuzzy PID control is more advantages than common PID control, especially in mutations and time-delay systems. Self-adaptive fuzzy PID system can quickly adjust the parameters of PID control line, and a strong ability to adapt to the environment, overshoot is small, robustness is good, and with good control accuracy and dynamic performance.
