Electric separation is based on the electrical properties of difference between a variety of minerals and materials, and use them to charge power in electric field and its polarity is different, which leads to the particles of different electrical properties have different separation trajectory and making material sorting a physical separation method. It has simple process, low cost, does not produce waste water, no environ-mental pollution, etc. Therefore electric separation compared with other physical and chemical processing method has strong adaptability, especially in the arid and cold region.Triboelectric is selected in the triboelectric separator, by mineral grain and min-eral grain or mineral grain and the medium contact, friction and collision, and give a kind of ore grain positive charge, another kind of ore grain get negative charge, and then they enter the high voltage electrostatic field separation. But due to the influence of friction charged equipment, it unable to make effective friction charged mineral particles. Through the study of friction charged device found air particles charged is an efficient way of charged. But in the kinetics of particles in the air and then adjust their friction motion parameters, to improve the ore grain friction load capacity, so that all particles fully charged no breakthrough, improve the capacity. Papers on the subject of the relevant basic theories involved, friction load appliances design and the research carried on the thorough analysis of the problems.First of all, the main reason for the effect of friction charged is the shape and structure of friction load appliances and corresponds to the operating parameters. Par-ticles in air flow driven by a variety of forces, the main force is the force of gravity and traction, when the friction charged equipment with special structure, some force also cannot be ignored. Due to air friction charged is the study of ore mineral grain collision, so this paper selected the Discrete Particle Model.Secondly, to analyze the shape of the tubular friction charged equipment, swirl shape, venturi type, arc tube type, pipe tee type, etc, which has further research value.Then, based on the research of the above shape, it is concluded that is helpful for structure parameters of the collision of particles friction, for swirl shape friction load appliances, should choose the smaller cyclone cone Angle, the smaller cylinder di- ameter, moderate the height of the cylinder diameter and exports. For venturi tube friction load appliances, should choose to moderate and arc Angle corresponding to the chord length. For circular tube type friction load appliances, should choose mod-erate bending diameter ratio, bending Angle. For tee type friction load appliances, should choose the Angle between two tubes and moderate equal tee tube. In the aspect of operation parameters, should choose suitable feed speed, feed particle size and feed quantity.Finally, because in each of the structure of the load appliance has its own advan-tages, we can try their combined use, such as tee combined with circular tube or will use a combination of pipe tee and swirl shape, and so on.
