Today’s society is a pluralistic era, with the foreign cultural influence each other interacting with each other, creating the flamboyant era. The costume design is one of the platforms that best reflect the change, the different cultural background makes the costume design diversified development trend.The minimalist style that best reflects the modern women in this diverse background, their own people in order to give spiritual and emotional sustenance, to pursue those more natural, simple and pure things, people’s attitudes and way of life also varies the inner needs changed. And it is this minimalist style women’s clothing to wear can satisfy people’s functional needs, but also the psychological needs of sustenance of such a carrier. This paper describes the origin and development of minimalism in other areas, elaborate style of minimalism in fashion design process and the evolution of morphological analysis focuses on the modern minimalist style couture and internal applications analysis, combined with market research to analyze the status of domestic minimalist style modern women and their development, and ultimately to better research minimalist design elements for future use to go among the modern women’s design, to create their own culture brand.
