Jiangsu Province is located in the east of China, crosses over the north and south ongeography, with economy developed, densely populated, and it has many larger anddistributing the characteristic intensively cities. Jiangsu Province has jurisdiction over13prefecture-level cities now. The population of the household register is about74million, andthe density of population occupies the first place in every province. The Geology of JiangsuProvince is complicated, which has much uranium mine and colliery mountain, and itsunderground facilities are employed extensively. The environmental protection drawing roomof Jiangsu Province Issued the subject " investigate of indoor radon in Jiangsu Province andthe influence assessing to the public” in2011,and launch survey of horizontal system ofindoor radon in the whole province and assessment.This subject uses the mark of solid foot-path to etch law, RAD-7to examine radon law,γ’s table226Ra measure law to investigating radon density level of indoor air of the13cities inJiangsu Province, and the mainly achievement is as the following:1,.The indoor radon density level of nearly900residences of13cities in Jiangsu Provinceis: The supreme value of the indoor radon density is238Bq/m3, the minimum value is5.0Bq/m3, arithmetic mean is30Bq/m3, the weighting arithmetic mean of population is29.7Bq/m3, the geometirc average is28.2Bq/m3. From statistical analysis of investigation,we canobtain the indoor radon levels of different administrative division, different houses type,different floors, different buildings times, different construction material and the law ofdistributing in Jiangsu Province. Analyze what we can work out the indoor radon density ofJiangsu Province and change relation of time, season.2.According to investigating and measuring of Radium to activity in the soil,Radondensity in the environment and Indoor radon density result of13cities in JiangsuProvince,we can set up indoor radon model, and obtain the relation between radium in thesoil, Radon in the environment and indoor radon, Through analyzing of the coefficientcorrelation of226Ra content in the radon and soil in indoor radon density, we can initialanalysis the main factor of Jiangsu Province indoor radon is density geological building foundation(Soil and rock)’s Radon appear.3.Assess indoor radon annual effective dose and indoor radon the public received in sometypical areas and out to the annual effective dose to the public causes in Jiangsu Province.The public causes of indoor radon in Jiangsu Province is0.76mSv to the average of annualeffective dose, which is lower than UNSCEAR2000annual report the average1.2mSv/a ofvalid quantity equivalent caused toward world masses of radon to the average of annualeffective dose the public received.Indoor radon investigation in Jiangsu Province is the investigated regarding provincegrade as the area for the first time,as it is indoor radon in the range of the whole province ofJiangsu Province. The investigation has contained typical house of county of JiangsuProvince (district), assess the annual effective dose to the public,and obtain the effective doseand public natural radiation of Jiangsu Province that the public received for the first time Theresearch results of this subject will be direct, have offered the corresponding environmentalbackground for socio-economic development, city construction and development andenvironmental monitoring management of radiation of Jiangsu Province and monitored thematerials long-termly. Investigate that has established the foundation with the investigationsof radon in the air for the radiation environmental exact details level in Jiangsu Province.
