With the increasing exploitation of oil and gas reservoirs, it has been moved to the complex from the general direction of the reservoir oil and gas reservoirs. Facing with this challenge, people make use of horizontal wells to exploit special reservoir, which is an effective method especially in the exploitation of the thin reservoir and low permeability reservoirs etc. While horizontal well technology is used in oil recovery, Scholars have also been theoretical studies of horizontal wells to explore underground status. Now there exist two analytical tools:the one adopt the method of numerical simulation, the another method makes use of physical experiments. In this paper, the research, which is developed by physical experiments, includes production profile and injection profile of horizontal well.The significance of this paper:the horizontal well deliverability can be affected by many factors reservoir characteristics, completion and production measures. In order to evaluate and understand the impact of different factors on the horizontal well productivity impact and effectiveness of measures, we need to develop appropriate physical experiment simulator, hi addition, from a practical point of view there are demands for the experimental study of horizontal wells.The innovation of this experiment:the simulation of the formation can be divided into homogeneous and heterogeneous reservoir. The simulation of the horizontal section is divided finite and infinite diversion status, and it can simulate the dynamics of bottom water coning. Besides, the experiment can simulate injection profile in waterflooding of horizontal wells.The main contents of this study:(1) According to the theoretical research related to horizontal wells analyzed, we propose four experimental functional designs of the experimental device.(2) According to the experimental design features and the hot issues about theoretical studies of horizontal wells, such as finite conductivity of horizontal section, the water cresting under the horizontal wells, we completed the reservoir, horizontal section, bottom water physical model design.(3) On the basis of three core design based on a physical model, we completed a set of experimental system design.(4) Following the experimental functional design requirements, the process is completed the four sets of experimental design, in addition, this paper describes a detailed experimental procedures and data processing methods.
