In recent years, while the oil of onshore oilfields is high water content and EOR technologies is widely used, O/W emulsion accounted for a large proportion in produced fluid.With the passage of time, the proportion of O/W crude oil emulsion will increase.However, the popular demulsifiers used in domestic oilfield and widely researched is focusing on the block polyether type. It has a long history of application and single species.lt was lack of specificity for breaking the O/W emulsion and inefficient. So developing a demulsifier with new structure is urgent and significant.PAMAM has a highly branched and symmetry structural features, and there are a large number of functional groups on the surface. It can react with other reactive groups to develop a demulsifier with a new structure.This paper synthesized polyamidomine dendrimers by divergent method using DETA as initiator core, MA and EDA as the starting material. Michael addition reaction and amidation reaction is repeatedly reacted in methanol solvent to product0.5-4.0G PAMAM.And we can take the integer-generation PAMAM to react with DAC to product1.0-4.0G M-PAMAM. We characterize the structure of the product through FTIR,’H NMR and elemental analysis.We optimize the reaction conditions and research the rheology, solubility, conductivity, surfactivity of the products. The results showed that the viscosity show a first increasing then decreasing trend when the branched generation increased. Every generation PAMAM is soluble in water. In contrast with the semi-generation product, integer-generation PAMAM are insoluble in methylbenzene and acetone solvents. The conductivity of integer-generation PAMAM product is higher than the adjacent semi-generation product. The conductivity of modified products is higher than the unmodified product.Integer-generation PAMAM product have no surfactivity performance. However.semi-generation PAMAM products and modified products M-PAMAM show good surfactivity performance.And it will have better surfactivity with high branched generation.We research the demulsification capability of0.5-4.0G PAMAM and I.0-4.0G M-PAMAM product targeting the O/W emulsion with30%oil content. The results showed that semi-generation PAMAM products have no demulsification capability. Integer-generation PAMAM and modified products have a good demulsificatioij capabiiity.and the higher branched generarion.the better demulsification capability.Comparing with other type demulsifiers,we select4.0G M-PAMAM and L-62demulsifier to compound and optimize to improve the demulsification capability.And we have get a mixed demulsifier with excellent demulsification capability while its ratio is7:3. The results show that the demulsification rate can reach to96.2%with the120ppm demulsifier concentration after60min at50癈.
