Artificial simulation of photosynthesis for photoinduced electron transfer watersplitting hydrogen and photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide remains a hot spotof photochemical research. Construction effective photocatalytic system for solarenergy conversion and realize the photolysis of water hydrogen evolution and reducethe damage of “greenhouse gas” carbon dioxide has the vital significance. Throughthe comparative study on the existing complexes, improve the pre-existing system anddesign some new photocatalytic reduction system, the photoinduced transfer processof the system were studied so on the process of reduction of carbon dioxide, somemeaningful results have been obtained.(1) The study of the catalytic behavior of iron uses Fe (TEOA) Cl3as catalyst,Ru(bpy)3Cl2·6H2O as photosensitizer, triethanolamine (TEOA) as a sacrificial agent,N, N-dimethyl formamide as solvent.Synthesized Fe (TEOA) Cl3, Co (II) Salophenand nano state Cu2O three substances, the photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxideand hydrogen behavior were studied. Discovered by the use of various testingmethods, the solution pH value, the ratio of iron trichloride to triethanolamine, thequantity of photosensitizer has a great influence on the production of carbonmonoxide. By uv-vis spectra, electrochemical and infrared spectrum testing, we findthe Fe (I) produce is important, when the iron is in the monovalence it can becombined with carbon dioxide and realize the reduction.2. photocatalyst Co (II) Salophen has a good resistance character to oxygen, andoxygen plays an important role in the experiment. On photocatalytic reduction ofcarbon dioxide Co (II) Salophen is less effective compared to Fe (TEOA) Cl3Forcobalt catalyst selectivity is poorer, should be further modified, so that the designrelated to ligand shoud be taken into more consideration to improve the selectivity ofcatalyst, further improve the efficiency.3. The use of Cu2O as catalyst, when using dye sensitization to deal with, in visibleband has good catalytic hydrogen production performance. Looking for moreeffective than ruthenium pyridine and cheaper dyes to Cu2O sensitization so that toimprove the photocatalytic performance are in process.
