In the separation process of boron isotopes with chemical exchange distillation,anisole purifying is necessary and important. For the characteristics of anisole mixtureand special separation requirements, dynamic accumulation continuous distillationwas proposed to purify anisole.Anisole mixture contains trace amounts of high boiling impurities, at the sametime feed and distillate must be continuous and equivalent for distillation column. Inthe process of dynamic accumulation continuous distillation, high boiling impuritiesaccumulated in bottom. Small continuous flow of those impurities was replaced bylarge flow intermittently. The yield of anisole can be improved in this way and it iseasy to control when taking out from bottom.In order to study the whole process of dynamical accumulation continuousdistillation, mathematical model of this operation was established and the wholeprocess was simulated with MATLAB. The effects of reflux ratio, number oftheoretical plates, hold-up of bottom and feed concentration on product concentrationand operating time were investigated in the process of simulation and the operatingparameters were determined in this way.Pilot plant was established and experiments were carried out. The experimentalresults agreed with the simulation results and this indicated the accuracy of themathematical model and the reliability of the simulation.
