| Waste Transfer Station (hereinafter referred to as transfer station) is a station whichis established between waste origin (or a centralized location) and a waste treatment plant,in order to reduce the shipping costs. It is the core of waste transport system. At the sametime, transfer station plays a key role of scheduling and links in the waste transportsystem and even the whole disposal system. The construction and operation of transferstation are closely bound up. Reasonable investment, land use arrangement, labor quotacan achieve maximum utilization of resources and improve the benefits of the project. The current studies on transfer station are mostly focused on site selection, route designand so on, however, there are few studies on Transfer Station Construction, therefore, thisarticle try to evaluate the level of it.This article analyzes related researches on waste station both at home and abroad, and put forward my own train of thought and methods based on summaries of theirmethods and conclusions. Directing at the issues of the "Transfer Station TechnicalSpecification"(CJJ47-2006), this article tries to make some adjustment in the light ofpractical theory. Based on adjusted standard, I make an evaluation on waste stationconstruction.Unlike others’ objects such as the site and operation and so on, this article choosesthe transfer station construction as a target. Using the method to evaluate42domestictransfer station constructions, the conclusion shows that the construction level of onetransfer station is “excellentâ€, the construction level of four transfer stations is “goodâ€,the construction level of sixteen transfer stations is “mediumâ€, accounting for2%,10%,38%of the total respectively), the construction level of the remaining21transfer stationsis “poorâ€, accounting for50%of the total. It means transfer station construction level hasa large room for improvement, and the result also shows that the relevant amendments tothe transfer station standards index has a certain significance. |
