Water-based power rod-less pumping unit, using flow force to power well pump work,is a new type of pumping unit. It can solve side attrition of pumping rods and tubesproblems often encountered when the conventional oil pumping unit is used for inclinedwells production. It is having more and more broad market for its advantages of high pumpefficiency, low power consumption, etc. In order to guarantee the safe and stable operationof the unit, it has important theoretical significance and engineering application value toresearch on fault diagnosis method of the system.The mainly research and innovations involves the following contents:(1) The dynamics analysis and research of power cylinder, the key component ofwater-based power rod-less pumping unit, are carried out. The power cylinder motionequation is set up. According to different changes of combination equation parametersunder different working conditions, the relationship between different faults and equationparameters are got, and the fault analysis based on the combination of power cylindermotion equation parameters is set up. By using this method, reveals the fault types andprovide theoretical foundation for fault diagnosis of the unit.(2) The fault diagnosis method based on HMM is carried out. The steps of faultdiagnosis on water-based power rod-less pumping unit based on HMM is presented, andfault diagnosis results of several typical faults are got. From the results we can see that, thismethod is suitable for water-based power rod-less pumping unit’s fault diagnosis and get ahigh accuracy rate.(3) Introduce the2.5-dimensional spectrum to fault diagnosis, a new method fusing2.5-dimensional spectrum and HMM is proposed in the fault diagnosis of water-basedpower rod-less pumping unit. Compare with the fault diagnosis experiment using HMMalone we can come to a conclusion that the new method fusing2.5-dimensional spectrumand HMM get a higher accuracy rate and faster calculation speed.(4) The fault simulation test bench of water-based power rod-less pumping unit isdesigned, including the PLC circuit control system and HMI system. This test bench can beused to simulate water-based power rod-less pumping unit normal condition, as well as avariety of fault conditions. A water-based power rod-less pumping unit state monitoringand fault diagnosis of simulation system is carried out. The system can simulateunderground working condition and provide a visual observation of the running status of the key parts of the unit, provide visualization tools for the state monitoring and faultdiagnosis of the unit.
