Glass fiber is a kind of excellent performance, environmental friendly inorganic non-metallic materials. With the rapid development of economy, the glass fiber has been widely used in many fields, it has become an indispensable raw materials in many industries. In glass fiber drawing process, infiltration agent is a necessary prerequisite for the normal use of the glass fiber. Textile sizing of glass fiber has good cluster, partnership property. The key component of the sizing agent is film-forming agent, film forming agent will directly influence the performance of glass fiber wire drawing. Generally, the main raw material film agent is starch, starch as a biodegradable polymer, the performance of the membrane agent into different modification methods obtained with different. This experiment mainly selects the pea starch as experimental raw material. By the chemical and physical modification, the observation period into effect on the performance of glass fiber membrane, surface tension, viscosity and its role and glass fiber.(1) Chemical modificationThe process of cationic modified enzyme pea starch:Take the pea starch dry base 40g, configured as 10% solution; pea starch pasting 1h at 90 ℃.Then the enzymatic hydrolysis, enzymolysis temperature is 50℃, enzyme dosage is 2.4 g, pH value is 6.8, set different enzymolysis time, enzyme hydrolysis was performed after completion of the cationic reaction, anhydrous sodium sulfate addition is 0.6 g, cationic surfactant addition amount of 1.2 g, adding amount of setting cationic time, sodium hydroxide. Determination of hydrolysis time, cationic time, amount of sodium hydroxide by single factor test. The modified starch was drawing, film laying, observation of membrane into them, determination of stiffness, oil content, the tensile strength and other parameters. Conclusions as follows:Cationic modification enzyme solution of optimal conditions is: enzymatic hydrolysis time14 h, pea starch cationic time 5 h, NaOH dosage is 0.4 g.The process of gelatin modified pea starch:The preparation process of comprehensive literature in gelatin modified starch, pea starch stem from base 40 g, solution with a certain concentration of pasting 1h at 90℃. Then the modified gelatin:The modification time of 30 min, concentration of starch, gelatin, determine the amount of glycerol content and reaction temperature by orthogonal test. Conclusions as follows:The optimal conditions of gelatin modified pea starch: concentration is 4%, the amount of gelatin glycerol content of 4 mL. The glycerol content of 4 g,30 min of the reaction time, the reaction temperature is 80℃.(2) The physical modificationThe process of silica gel modified cationic starch:silica gel is similar to the function of the coupling agent, the best selection of cationic modified pea starch to silica gel reaction, cation modified pea starch pasting 1h at 90℃, and then silica gel modified:glycerol content was 4 g, the reaction temperature is 80℃, determine the amount of silica gel by single factor test.Silica gel modified cationic optimal conditions:the amount of silica gel 0.10 g, glycerol content of 2 g, reaction temperature 80℃Through the comparison of the several methods of modification of the membrane forming property, after drawing fiber burning rate, stiffness, tensile strength and other parameters, these three modified methods of silica gel properties of modified cationic starch is the best, its effect on the glass fiber, can not only meet the drawing smoothly, and the indicators are close to or better than Japanese starch. Four different methods of modification of film-forming agent, each have advantages, the basic can guarantee the smooth progress of drawing and textile. The experimental study in the future can be based on these three kinds of modification methods of the advantages and disadvantages of the agent.
