Study On The Preparation Of High Active Copper Oxide And Influencing Factor In Its Performance

The active copper oxide now has been main applied to the copper plating process of printed circuit board. With the continuous development of the printed circuit board industry, the market demand of the active copper oxide is growing, but also the activity of copper oxide products are faced with more and more high quality requirements.In this thesis, the preparation of high active copper oxide had used by three different synthetic methods to determine the optimal synthesis process, the needed equipment in the synthesis process were selected, economic benefit estimation and environmental protection were analyzed; and the structure and morphology of products were characterized by XRD, SEM, Optical Microscope. The main results were as follow:(1) The optimum conditions of preparing active copper oxide by direct precipitation method were determined. The reaction temperature was 25 ℃, the reaction time was 2 h, the calcination temperature was 400 ℃, the assistant was D. The activity of copper oxide about 50 s, the purity reached to 99.4% and the copper recovery rate under this optimum conditions reached to 98%;(2) The optimum conditions of preparing active copper oxide by complex precipitation method were determined. The reaction temperature was 80℃, the reaction time was 2 h, the calcination temperature was 450℃, the complex agents was C and the assistant was D. The activity of copper oxide about 15s, the purity reached to 99.5% and the copper recovery rate under this optimum conditions reached to 98%;(3) The optimum conditions of preparing active copper oxide by hydrothermal method were determined. The reaction temperature was 110℃, the reaction time was 12 h, the calcination temperature was 400℃, the copper sources was Cu(NO3)2 and the assistant was D. The activity of copper oxide about 12s, the purity reached to 99.5% and the copper recovery rate under this optimum conditions reached to 95%;(4) Comparing the product performance obtained by the three synthesis method with each other, we conclude that the main factors that affect the activity of copper oxide products were morphology, the dispersion and the size of the particles. The activity of product and the economy of the synthesis method were comprehensively considered, we choose complex precipitation method as the best synthesis method in this paper;(5) Economic benefit estimation results showed that the preparation of high active copper oxide by complex precipitation method could possess good economical benefit. The environmental analysis showed that the preparation process without three wastes pollution was a cleaner production process.
