Since the creation of the coordination chemistry doctrine by Vienna in 1893 has passed more than a century. The majority of scientists had let the coordination chemistry into a new level in one hundred years. Our research in this field has evolved from the traditional complex to the current supramolecular coordination polymers. And we probe thoroughly of its structure, functions and applications. This paper designed and synthesized three different ligands. We used those ligands to build three of novel supramolecular coordination polymers with transition metal. The complexes has been resolved its structure by X-ray diffraction. Their properties were characterized by Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Infrared Spectroscopy, Ultra Violet Spectroscopy, Elemental Analysis and so on. The paper is divided into four chapters as follow.Chapter One:We introduced the definition and development of coordination chemistry and supramolecular chemistry briefly. And we summarized the synthesis and application of supramolecular coordination polymers. And we used it to lead the purpose and significance of this paper.Chapter Two:We used two different 8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives as ligands to build two novel structures of supramolecular coordination polymers with Cr3+ under the solvothermal conditions. Its structure and properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction, UV spectrum, IR spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and XRD.Chapter Three:We used benzimidazole as raw material to synthesized the ligand 9,10-Bis[3-(2-pyridylmethyl) benzimidazo-lium-1-ylmethyl] anthracene bis (hexafluoro-phosphate) through two steps. We use it to build a new structure of supramolecular coordination polymers with Hg2+ under solvothermal conditions. Its structure and properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction, UV absorption spectrum, fluorescence spectroscopy. We found that complexes show weak photoluminescence properties in the visible region.Chapter Four:We made some experiences about complexes synthesized through summary of the above work.And we provides a theoretical basis for future research on this aspect...
