With the rapid development of port transportation, the scale of the port is continuously extending, while, due to the lack of consideration to the ecological protection in the phase of port planning and construction, the surrounding ecological environment suffers serious damage. Especially in the process of port construction, a large number of ecological land is developed for construction land, leading to the weakened of the ecosystem service function, thus the serious losses of the ecosystem service value. At present, domestic and foreign researches of the ecosystem service value assessment mainly focus on different types of natural ecosystem and urban ecosystem, while the research of the port ecosystem service value which is a complex ecosystem composed of artificial-nature-society is rare. On the basis of existing research, this paper give definition to the port ecosystem with regarding it as a subsystem of urban ecosystem. This study considers artificial factor, natural factor and social factor to modify the ecosystem service unit value with coastal factor correction, biomass factor correction and social economic factor correction, as well as the negative ecosystem service value of construction land, to establish a evaluation model of port ecosystem service value, and calculate the port ecosystem service value by an example. The results show that in port ecosystem the ecological land reduced substantially, and the construction land increased substantially, indicating that with expansion of port construction, a large number of ecological land is developed for construction land, leading to the huge losses of ecological land service value. According to the assessment model of port ecosystem service value, this paper quantifies the impact of port construction on ecosystem environment and the result can offer a visual and effective reference to the port planning.
