The oil sands is a mixture which composed of tar sands, sand and clay. It is an unconventional energy. Although the amount of oil sands resources is enormous, mineable resource ranked 5 in the world, and has a good quality oil, high oil content and other characteristics, in some areas the oil rate can reach 12% or more in our country, but because of the presence of oil extraction points low efficiency, the development and utilization of the slow development of the oil sands. Separation of oil sand with hot alkali washing method, in which the surface active agent and its role in the oil sands and water adsorption law of solid-liquid interface is not clear, So this study on the influencing factors of hot alkaline separation oil sands for system analysis and research the surfactant action principle, in order to improve the oil sands of elution efficiency.The selected surfactant firstly, to study the influence of experimental conditions on the sand-water interfacial tension. When the dosage of sodium dodecyl sulfate is 0.15%, PH value of 9 to 10, temperature is 70-80 ℃, the mixing time was 120 min, stirring speed of 400 r·min-1, solid-liquid ratio of 1:20, elution rate can reach 93%.In the same way to tesing the surfactants such as for twain- 20, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid sodium and span- 60, its experimental conditions were determined.Study the effect of single surfactant on oil- water interfacial tension of solid-liquid and elution rate. It is concluded that when the dosage of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid was 0.4%, the effect was best, the elution rate was 93.5%;When the dosage of 1.5% twain- 20, interfacial tension and elution rate can reach the optimal state, the elution rate was 92.4%;Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether elution rate highest when the dosage of 2.1%, the elution rate was 94.5%.Several kinds of surfactants have better reduce the interfacial tension, improving the elution rate,and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether effect is best, the elution rate is highest, but the quality score is relatively high.Compound with two kinds of surfactants, namely choose department class- 60 and twain-20, SDS and polyethylene ether fatty alcohols. When the span of 60 and twain- 20 of 2:1, elution rate is as high as 96.3%,the displacement efficiency was higher after compound than when used alone, Comparing the effect after adding NaOH and Na2CO3, found that adding Na2CO3 is better. SDS and fatty alcohol polyethylene ether compound, when the amount of SDS is 0.8g, minimum interfacial tension, to achieve the best effect. After adding NaOH and NaCl, in under the action of salting out have a different result, adding NaCl is slightly better than the effect of NaOH. Comparison of two kinds of compound surfactant effects, SDS with fatty alcohol polyethylene ether have better effect, the elution rate reached 97.8%.Using the principles of adsorption kinetics and adsorption thermodynamics, the adsorption law of surfactants in oil- water interface is discussed. Adsorption of compound surfactant on oil sand surface increases with the rising of temperature; Under the condition of the experimental adsorption process is exothermic process; alkaline conditions conducive to the adsorption process.
