High-speed machining is an advanced manufacturing technology which can increase productivity,precision,quality of the product and reduce production costs by raising cutting speed dramatically. Now,nothing can stop its development. High-Speed machine tool is the precondition for realizing high-speed machining. High-speed motorized spindle is the crucial unit of the high-speed machine tool. Compared with conventional transmission,high-speed motorized spindle is equipped with a built-in motor,so that power transmission devices such as gears and straps are eliminated,and“zero transmission”is realized.This article first introduced the electric spindle have high precision, high rigidity, strong vibration resistance, thermal stability and other excellent properties. For typical ceramic motorized spindle, I explained on the structure and working principle, and introduced to the main shaft and bearing in detail in this paper.When the spindle is under the the spindle preload, using the theory of Hertz contact stress to calculate the numerical solution of the static deformation and the stiffness of contacts.In 150MD24z7.5 spindle-type model, using the ANSYS model to establish the three-dimensional analysis, vibration and thermal due to the preload of the bearing were studied the rotor shaft by mathematical calculation and simulation and analyze the vibration of the rotor shaft, the bearing friction heat and temperature distribution. At last, an experiment should be set up to verify the above content. Applying the same method to determine a reasonable 170SD30 without inner all-ceramic spindle full ceramic spindle preload force, and also to analyze the vibration and thermal.According to the above, Use of the transfer matrix method to calculated natural frequency of the spindle which is without inner 170SD30 full ceramic spindle and designed by our group center, Using finite element analysis software ANSYS to analyze rotor modal, a dynamic test system of spindle is built to study dynamic response characteristics by the way of hammering experimental. the results of the transfer matrix method, ANSYS simulation results and experimental results were compared and analyzed and study of its dynamic characteristics. At last also showed that:ANSYS simulation is more feasibility and quickness.In engineering, a reasonable preload can improve the accuracy of the axis of rotation, reducing noise and vibration, ensure bearing life, doing research in this area be able to optimize the bearing, spindle preload plays a certain field of research development role in promoting.
