Development And Commercial Test Of Hydrocracking Catalyst PHC~03

The depletion of the world’s reserves of light crude oils is leading to an increase in utilization of medium and heavy crude oils. At present, the objective of hydrocracking is to convert medium and heavy vacuum gas oil(VGO) and possibly coked gas oil(CGO) into gasoline lines, jet fuels and diesel oils according to geographical and seasonal variations in demand. Catalysts play a fundamental role in the evolution of development of hydrocracking. The chanllenges that are posed on refiners are to employ the most suitable catalyst system that is capable of handling their demand in market.1.2 Mt/a Hydrocracking Unit is the key of Daqing Petrochemical Refinery. According to its characteristics, various reserches were performed throughout this work, at the same, a catalyst PHC~03 which contained Ni~W metals loading at special Y and BETA zeolites was prepared.The commercial results of PHC~03 indicate that it has high activity, good flexibility and high selectivity of middle distillates compared to a reference commercial catalyst with the same feed and operating conditions.
