As the development of the city in this society, people’s living standard increased in speed, home decoration has been basically universal. However, the trouble with this is daily necessities, contains many harmful pollutions, such as formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, radon, volatile organic compounds and particulate matter, thus causing serious pollution of indoor environment, endanger human body health, and therefore the global disease and even death as high as millions. And in these pollutants formaldehyde is undoubtedly very important one. In this paper, I carried on the detection and governance of formaldehyde on the experimental study. The research content has the following several parts:1. To improve the phenol reagent spectrophotometry, research the stability of the main reagent trials, including the reagent of phenol, formalin, developing coloration. And testing involves the experimental conditions were studied respectively: absorption wavelength, chromogenic agent, chromogenic time color temperature, color, PH value, trying to fin out the optimum color conditions, and on the basis of guarantee the accuracy, makes more time-saving, convenient detection method.2.Study of acethlacetone, respectively to study the reaction temperature dosage of acetyl acetone, the influence of gas extraction rate etc, try to find out the best experimental conditions, make the detection more rapid and accurate.3.Traditional sulfuric acid method of determination of formaldehyde in the process of sulfuric acid amount is larger, and concentrated sulfuric acid has strong corrosion resistance in the process of operation and certain risk. Were studied with phosphoric acid and hydrogen peroxide instead of sulfuric acid, and respectively study the optimal wavelengths, heating time, the dosage of chromomeric agent, the influence of phosphate dosage etc.Treatment method of formaldehyde in indoor air, this article USES the absorption solution at room temperature by chemical reaction, removal of formaldehyde in the air. Without heating reaction, do not have to be like photo catalytic method need UV light source. Compared with common solid absorption method, the solution method of absorbent easier for family use, change, the operation is simple is good for promotion. Has carried in the experimental research, in this paper, the solution absorption under atmospheric pressure, atmospheric sampler dynamic gas extraction using flow stability, the configuration different concentrations of formaldehyde aqueous solution ACTS as a source of formaldehyde, simulated conditions of high, medium and low concentration formaldehyde and experimented with potassium permanganate and copper sulfate tea, etc. The possibility of solution and formaldehyde reaction.1. Configuration different PH value of solution, the PH influence on the effect of potassium permanganate solution to remove formaldehyde.2. Experiment on removal of formaldehyde copper sulfate solution, PH, different completing agent was studied, the influence of the concentration of cupric sulfate, and other conditions on the removal rate.3. To experiment of the tea to remove, tea concentration was studied, the influence of the formaldehyde solution and other conditions on the removal rate, and tea to remove indoor air formaldehyde effect in practical application.
