Gemini surfactants appear some excellent properties such as excellent interfactial activity,low Critical Micelle Concentration, good compatibility with other flooding chemical agent,the better wettability and the well solubility. These properties do not appear on the commen surfactants because its special struction.In this paper, a series of Gemini surfactant were synthesised from cyanuric, aliphatic amine, N,N-dimethylpropane-1,3-diamine and 3-Chloro-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid sodium salt. The chemical structures of the perpared compound were confimed by 1H NMR,IR. We have examined the influence of feed ratio and rection temperature to the Cn-GSBS-Ⅲ,and the final product.We measursed this series Gemini surfactants, Krafft point, the result shows that their Krafft point are lower than 0℃. They will have a good prospect in the low temperature field.Their Critical Micelle Concentration(CMC) in the solutions were determine by surface-tension and steady fluorscence. The results indicate that the Gemini surfactants have a lower CMC, a great effciency in reducing the surface tension than those of corresponding conventional, the value of C8-GSBS’s CMC and γCMC are 5×10-5mol/L and 32.26mN/m. We have measured the interifical tension between water and the oil which come from DaQing 4th production factory. It turns out that all the four surfactants have a very excellent interface activity. The interface between oil of DaQing oil field and water can be reduce to 10-2mN/m.We also have investigated influence of the concentration and the length of carbon chain to the interface tension. It turns out the interface tension between oil and water would be low as the number of carbon. The growth of the concentration of surfactants also can be helpful to the interface tension. The emulsion of this kind of surfactants performance was evaluated, the result shows that the superior to traditional amphoteric surfactant BS-12. Also examines the surfactant chain length and surfactant concentration on the properties of emulsion, the results show that the surfactant emulsion ability will get better as the growth of the carbon chain,C12-GSBS can make the interfacial tension between oil and water to a minimum; Four kinds of surfactant with the increase of the concentration of the emulsion performance get better first, when the concentration increases to a certain concentration, emulsifying properties can achieve the best results and remain the same.
