With the development and improvement of oil exploitation mode, assessment, fault prediction, dealing with drilling mud pump technology has been more and more perfect. Some effective and mature methods for fault diagnosis of continuous development, the most typical diagnostic methods are based on the drilling mud pump fault diagnosis method, based on the vibration signal of drilling mud pump fault diagnosis method was used to observe the parameters and so on, these methods have advantages and disadvantages, is also widely used within a period of time. In this paper, based on the fault analysis of equipment diagnosis mode of application of vibration test in drilling mud pump, so that the equipment fault diagnosis accuracy improve, reduce the difficulty of diagnosis, the diagnosis result more credibility. According to the drilling of three cylinder mud pump vibration test and fault analysis, and verify the validity of the fault diagnosis method in the fault case, because the equipment of reciprocating machinery often has the structure is very complex, there are many exciting source equipment, due to the complex structure and lead to more than other types of equipment spare parts, and the properties of signal complex and difficult to deal with, these have become the difficult reason of oil drilling mud pump fault location analysis.This paper reviews the physical structure of the three cylinder mud pump, this paper describes the principle of three cylinder mud pump, mud pump faults are summarized, summarizes two aspects from the fault power end fault and fault of mud pump hydraulic end, common fault detection method. Then the mud pump vibration test and fault simulation, combined with the working principle of three cylinder mud pump and the common fault, in the laboratory to construct fault test-bed for mud pump, mud pump based on vibration transfer path as the research object, the fault phenomena and causes a detailed simulation analysis. Then the construction of mud pump fault diagnosis scheme, and the three cylinder mud pump is analyzed based on Fault Simulation of vibration transfer path, further confirmed the specific location of the fault, to determine the extent and type of fault. Through the practice of typical fault diagnosis, selection of 3NB-1300 C mud pump a large oil drilling team as the research object analysis. Combining with the analysis method of fault vibration transmission path based on vibration, determine the transmission path, the vibration transmission path analysis, combined with point level time-domain graph, get effective value measurement points and vibration intensity data, infer the fault position truly, and the mud pump current survey results confirm the validity comparison, fault diagnosis method constructed in this research, it can be said that with the promotion of good value for theory development and practice of fault diagnosis of reciprocating machinery.
