In the article, three series of aighteen amine. oxidized-thermoregulated ionic liquids have been synthesized and applied for O2 oxidation desulfurization of diesel, and good results have been achieved. The study opens up a new idea for deep oxidative desulfurization of diesel with the ionic liquid catalyst.26 kinds of eighteen amine phosphotungstic acid oxidized-thermoregulated ionic liquids were synthesized from eighteen amines, chlorinated paraffin, epoxy ethane, and phosphotungstic acid. These ionic liquids were characterized by FI-IR and 1H NMR. The thermal stability was analyzed by TG. The polarity and the performance of ionic liquids were investigated. These ionic liquids were used for catalyzing O2 oxidation desulfurization of diesel. The optimum conditions were obtained as follows:the ionic liquid (n=111, C12), the volume ratio of toluene and n-dodecane 1:1, reaction temperature 100℃, the O2 pressure 2 MPa, and reaction time 2 h. DMF as the extracting agent (the ratio of catalyst to oil 1:1,40℃, stirring 5 min, static 15 min), the desulfurization rate could reach 100%. After 11 recycles of the catalyst, the desulfurization rate could reach 95%. The structure of ionic liquid did not change by FT-IR characterization.15 kinds of eighteen amine iodinemolybdate acid ionic liquid were synthesized from eighteen amines, chlorinated paraffin, ethylene oxide, sodium molybdat dihydrat, chlorhydric acid, and phosphotungstic acid. These ionic liquids were characterized by FI-IR and 1H NMR. The thermal stability was analyzed by TG. These ionic liquids were used for catalyzing O2 oxidation desulfurization of diesel. The optimum conditions were obtained as follows:the ionic liquid (n=162, C12), the amount of ionie liquid 0.18 mmol, reaction time 2 h, the O2 pressure 2 MPa, reaction temperature 130℃, and the ratio of catalyst to oil 1:1. DMF as the extracting agent, the desulfurization rate could reach 100%. After 10 recycles of the catalyst, the desulfurization rate could reach 94.1%. The structure of ionic liquid did not change by FT-IR characterization.20 kinds of eighteen amine oxyvanadium oxidized-thermoregulated ionic liquids were synthesized from eighteen amines, ethylene oxide, vanadyl sulfate hydrate, phosphotungstic acid, and chlorinated paraffin. These ionic liquids were characterized by ECL, FI-IR and 1H NMR. The thermal stability was analyzed by TG. These ionic liquids were used for catalyzing O2 oxidation desulfurization of diesel. The optimum conditions were obtained as follows:the ionic liquid (n=120, C12), reaction time 2.5 h, the O2 pressure 3 MPa, and reaction temperature 135℃. DMF as the extracting agent, the desulfurization rate was 98.8%. After 12 recycles of the catalyst, the desulfurization rate could reach 93%. The structure of ionic liquid did not change by FT-IR characterization.
