With the speeding up of urbanization in our country, Production of architectural decoration waste is growing rapidly. According to statistics, in recent years, the amount of construction waste generated accounted for 30~40 percent of the total garbage, reached at 100 millions every year. As an important part of construction waste, the proportion of decoration waste is increasing every year. But the development of management technology of decoration waste does not catch up with the economic. Countermeasures to the decoration garbage is still act as landfill.This practice waste a lot of natural resources, at the same time, bring serious pollution of the environment and encroached on land resources. How to reduce the decoration waste at the source of production, is a major challenge facing our society.With the "Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Area", "Tianfu New Area" construction project was elevated to a state-level, The development of construction industry of Chengdu has paced into a new- round growth. But it has been accompanied by a growing production of decoration waste. Garbage are so much that even surrounded city. In order to realize the low carbon and sustainable development of decoration industry in Chengdu, we should have a comprehensive analysis of the architectural decoration waste of Chengdu, find a right way to reduce the decoration waste of Chengdu.In order to put forward the scientific and reasonable method to manage decoration waste, this paper did a surver on a buildings in Chengdu. Through the analysis of location and composition of each apartment, Calculated the survey area produce about 2.3t decoration garbage per 100m2, the entire area is expected to generating 9813 t, By selecting the typical unit to correct the survey data,Finally got the conclusion of every 100 m2 produced about 2.23 t decoration garbage.and get the proportion of each component. Use of the existing calculation methods to get the decoration waste production around the year of 2005~2014, Based on the data of the calculation of this article predicts the annual production of decoration of Chengdu from 2015~2019 and analyzes the effectiveness of case-related industrial chain of construction waste through the establishment of GM(1,1) gray prediction model. Combined with the reduction methods of decoration waste and the actual survey data, this paper proposed 3 methods: “Model diversification”、 “Combined with the decoration and housing renovation”、 “Framework design and reservation”. By calculating the energy saving efficiency, and analysis each methods, The best energy-saving effect is the second method, this method is suitable for those house which construction area is under 180m2, “Framework design and reservation” is suitable for those construction area is more than 180m2.Some research methods and prediction method could be a reference for the Chengdu Municipal Government. In addition, the method for implementing low carbon houses put forward by this paper and calculation method for energy saving is also have a certain reference value to formulate relevant laws and decisions.
