The Putaohua reservoir extension area geological reserve is large, and its producing degree is low. The thickness of sand body is thin,Plane heterogeneity is strong,oil-water distribution is Complex, the scale of reserves distribution is Small And distribution scattered,belongs to the low abundance and low permeability reservoirs. In the current economic conditions if use conventional mining exploitation for unused blocks, there will be low production and low recovery efficiency problem, basic unable to effectively use.In order to effectively solve the problem of low production and low recovery efficiency in the process of exploitation putaohua oil layer, the border region of putaohua reservoir have to classify evaluation, and set different development countermeasures according to different types of reservoir. This article is mainly study the using way of sheet type sand body. Found in the study, vertical wells injection horizontal mining development method can obtain good economic benefit and development effective. So, to carry out the feasibility study of horizontal well and horizontal well parameter optimization design research is an effective means and inevitable choice of using sheet type sand bodies in the border region.In this paper, the feasibility of horizontal wells, horizontal wells parameter optimization, well pattern design and water injection mode were studied on the basis of drawing on the experience of the domestic oil horizontal well development, considering the reservoir construction, technology, economic and other factors,through the reservoir classification and evaluation,the establishment of three-dimensional geological model, using the method of reservoir engineering and numerical simulation methods. Summarizes a method of the optimization design of horizontal well suitable for sheet sand as the main sedimentary facies of putaohua oil layer border region and combined with the actual production situation that surrounding reservoir conditions are similar and have been developed. The prediction of development index and economic benefit evaluation have been complished. Finally come to the conclusion: development mode of vertical well and horizontal well that base on horizontal well can improve the degree of reserve recovery of Difficult to use reservoir and can bring great economic benefit for oil field.
