When deep-sea drilling, drilling platforms will be affected by waves, winds and ocean currents, etc. to produce heave motion. That will impact drilling efficiency and quality, reduce bit life. Therefore, we need to heave compensation of drill pipe column, so that the wellhead drilling column relative to the bottom hole displacement remains the same, So as to realize constant drilling pressure drilling. According to the relationship between the elastic deformation of the drill string and drilling pressure design of the deep-sea drilling rig heave compensation simulation device.The drilling rig heave compensation simulation device is composed of two parts: machine body and control monitoring system. In this device,the waves of cam drives platform heave motion, drives the loading rod displacement, lead to load drill pipe built-in spring length changes to make the hook tension change. PLC will pull hook tension sensor signal with a given value comparison operations, and the result is converted to electrical signal output to a big start torque, quick response speed servo motor, thus real-time adjustment of turning and speed of winch, stabilize hook tension, realize automatic compensation and wave interference dynamic coordination. Computing configuration software real-time monitoring the related parameters in the experiment, during the heave compensation simulation device running. The experiment proved that the device can achieve the purpose of drilling pressure stability.
