The numerical control reciprocating submersible pump is an important new oil production technology and completely solved the eccentric wear problem of rod and tubing,it is suitable for "three low" reservoir with good application prospects, and its level of fault diagnosis directly affects the application results in the production of oilfield. Therefore this paper main research fault diagnosis methods and development of fault diagnosis instrument of Electric Submersible Plunger Pump, and in view of the four typical fault of stuck pump、leakage of fixed valve、 liquid supply shortage、paraffin precipitation of tubing of the unit to carry out a large number of laboratory and field test, and diagnosis of Reasonable and accurate. The main contents are as follows:Research structure and operating principle of electric submersible plunger pump, combined with field experience, analyzed common faults and causes of may occur of the oil production technology in the actual production work, simultaneously carry out laboratory test, research law of motion of submersible linear motor rotor, get displacement and lifting force variation with time of rotor.Development fault monitoring and diagnosis portable test equipment for electric submersible plunger pump, main including data acquisition platform based on Lab VIEW and software of indicator diagram measurement,and research the method of indirect indicator diagram measurement based on wavelet denoising. carry out a large number of laboratory and field test and the test results show that reasonable and accurate indicator diagram is measured by fault diagnosis instrument, meet the needs of field fault diagnosis, the effect of field application is better.Research fault diagnosis methods of electric submersible plunger pump based on indirect indicator diagram measurement.The theory indicator diagram of unit running is established and its further analysis is carried. Measuring indicator diagram of the unit normal run、stuck pump、leakage of fixed valve、liquid supply shortage based on laboratory fault simulated test and measuring indicator diagram of the unit normal run、paraffin precipitation of tubing based on field test. Research fault feature of this four typical fault.The effect of application show that this method can achieve reasonable and accurate diagnosis for the typical fault, design of stuck pump and paraffin precipitation of tubing of the common faults,its accuracy rate can achieve 98% and 97%.Research practical application of the theory of support vector machines in electric submersible plunger pump. Gathering real-time electrical parameters data of the unit in laboratory and field, define and extract fault information, fault diagnosis classifier is proposed, achieve the Misjudgment rate of the unit normal run、stuck pump、leakage of fixed valve、 liquid supply shortage、paraffin precipitation of tubing, comparative analysis with the fault diagnosis methods based on learning vector quantization Neural Networks,the results show that this method is feasible,can meet the Actual requirements of electric submersible plunger pump.
