As a important sewage transportation equipment in the sewage treatment process,the submersible sewage pump is directly related to the treatment efficiency of sewage.Due to the complicated impurities in the turbid sewage well,the traditional fault detection methods such as sound,vibration and temperature make it difficult to diagnose and repair the submersible sewage pump.In order to avoid serious damage and sudden shutdown of the submersible pump during operation,it is particularly important to perform accurate fault diagnosis and condition monitoring.In modern industrial production,the working conditions of the mechanical equipment have become more and more complex,and the instability of signal has also increased.The traditional FFT has some limitations such as low resolution,easy distortion and so on.At present,the research on the fault diagnosis of submersible sewage pump is still less in our country.In view of the above situation,more in-depth analysis of the former research results is carried out,and the fault diagnosis and condition monitoring system of the submersible sewage pump is developed.The vibration mechanism and main fault characteristics of rolling bearings and rotors are analyzed in this paper.According to the working characteristics of the pump,an acceleration sensor is installed in the outer shell of the pump to collect vibration signals,and a data acquisition system based on STM32 as the main control chip is developed.The software and interface of the host computer are developed by using LabVIEW virtual instrument software.The communication between the host computer and the lower device is established by using the Modbus/TCP protocol which is widely used in the industry.In the aspect of signal processing,the collected analog signal is converted into digital signal by data acquisition system,and the signal is filtered by butterworth digital low-pass filter.By calling the matlab script,the Zoom-FFT signal processing algorithm is implemented in LabVIEW,and the higher frequency domain signal resolution is obtained without increasing the computational complexity,which relizes the fast transform in time and frequency domain.Finally,the submersible sewage pump of a sewage treatment plant was tested and verified.By collecting the normal operation signals of the submersible sewage pump and artificially simulating the two kinds of fault signals such as blockage and loose bolts,the diagnostic system was able to display important parameters.When a fault occurs,it can prompt the alarm to verify that the diagnosis system can operate normally.Zoom-FFT can effectively remove the interference in the signal,and retain the fault feature,and has the characteristics of fast calculation speed and high resolution,which improves the accuracy of fault diagnosis and effectively prevent false alarms.
