To Calculate And Analyze Carbon Balance In Gong Dong Province

This study is going to regards Guangdong province as a close area to compare carbon balance in Liannan County with its average of Guangdong province, which is for discussing whether Liannan County is a carbon sink of Guangdong province. According to the domestic and foreign literatures, terrestrial ecosystem, consuming fossil fuels, cement production, increasing of human and animals, wood consumption and soil respiration, which can be considered as the main effectors leading carbon unbalance. This study is going to focus on these main effectors and using the method presented by IPCC to calculate the carbon income and expenditure of Liannan County, which is for clarifying how Liannan County influences carbon balance of Guangdong province.The results show that although the average of carbon discharge in Guangdong province is a carbon source, Liannan County is one of important carbon sink of Guangdong province. It’s the key reason can be considered that vegetative cover of Guangdong province distribute no-uniform.According to the research, the paper can give out the suggestions for Guangdong province is to reduce carbon discharge and optimize the industry structure. At first, Guangdong should improve third industry and reducing secondary industry step by step. Secondly, it should get rid of low output enterprise with high energy consumption and advocating new technology of energy-saving and emission-reduction. The paper can also give suggestions for Liannan County.Its carbon control should emphasis on protecting environment, which is for keeping surplus of carbon balance. To sum up, advocating compensation policy of carbon discharge in Guangdong province is very essential to make sure that environmental conservation goes ahead with economic sustainable development.
