As a modern detection technology, Near Infrared Spectroscopy(NIR) analytical technology has been widely used in process analysis area for its non-destructive property, fast detection speed, and high measuring accuracy, etc. NIR has made considerable progress in recent years, which has been generally accepted by public, got official endorsement and has been increasingly widely used in many fields, such as agriculture, food, medicine, tobacco, and so on. The amount of data generated by NIR detection is large and they are scattered in different checkpoint, thus the spectral data exist in each checkpoint as the form of " Information Island ", it is difficult to obtain the correlation among information, and data analysis and diversified statistics become unavailable.To solve these problems, this paper takes a tobacco company as the background, we deeply study and understand NIR applications in tobacco industry, listen attentively to NIR experts’ introduction in tobacco industry to the characteristic of Near Infrared Spectroscopy data. Then extract the requirements for constructing tobacco material- Near Infrared Spectroscopy network sharing platform, which unite those “Information Island” scattered everywhere to be an integral, reliable, economic and effective whole, thus they can work compatibly with each other, and develop the whole performance to achieve the purpose of cooperative work.This paper researches a large number of tobacco near-infrared spectral indices and data upload, the central site monitoring indicators, statistical analysis and graphic reports in depth. Especially, the evaluation of threshing and re-drying processing by using the coefficient of variation and the rate of decline is studied, and achieves multivariate, multi-dimensional statistical analysis techniques in foreground. By implementing the above key technologies, and in line with the principle of availability, usability, reliability, scalability and security, the tobacco material Near Infrared Spectroscopy network sharing platform is successfully designed. The platform provides users with near-infrared spectroscopy data network storage services, sample management, data sharing, recipe management, sample information generation, statistical analysis, and other network security management platform services, which reflects the commercial value and practical significance to build the platform.
