Physical data is the most important basic data in chemical calculation. Whether it is in scientific research, chemical engineering calculation, chemical process simulation or actual production practice, we need to know the physical and chemical properties of related substances. With the development of experimental conditions, it has been a large number of experimental data, but due to the rapid industrial development, experimental conditions and the limitation of material itself, there are still a lot of material is very difficult to get through the experimental measurement. Therefore, the estimation of physical property becomes a very necessary auxiliary tools. With the rapid development of modern chemical technology and chemical software is becoming more and more widely used, it becomes necessary to develop a physical property estimation software which is both accurate and convenient and practical.Property estimation system needs the support of basic data, we need to build the physical property database. Database contains a database management system and user interface, the physical property database of the system first in the Microsoft SQL Server (database management system) to establish contains more than 7000 kinds of material (mainly organic) more than 50 physical database; secondly, by using Visual C++ development user interface; Finally, using C++ code connections Microsoft SQL SERVER, read the Microsoft SQL SERVER data in files, so as to realize the chemical property database connection with physical property estimation. In the physical database people can select a different search methods to find property data, also can modify, add, delete property data.This paper introduces the estimation of critical temperature, critical pressure, critical volume and normal boiling point of the elements and chemical bonds estimation model, and the original elements and chemical bonds on the increase in the Si group elements and connected with chemical bond is proposed for estimating the model of the new elements and chemical bonds, compared to the new estimation model and Joback method modified Joback method, and the original elements and chemical bond model, makes the calculation easier, more accurate, more extensive scope of application. Property estimation system is based on the estimation model of elements and chemical bonds, estimating system under the Windows operating system is designed, using Visual Studio 2010 as the development platform. In the estimation of physical properties, you can choose parameters to estimate material, select the estimation property and the corresponding estimation correlations, and set the group parameters, you can obtain the estimate value of the property. The estimation of the system not only can quickly find out the existing physical property data in the database of material, but also can estimate the property data of different conditions using different estimation correlations. Development and application of system which based on elements and chemical bonding provides a simple, convenient, feasible way of querying for people, improves the scientific research personnel’s working efficiency, makes the chemical research and production more efficient, more scientific, so the development and theoretical research of the system has great value in use.
