| Physical property estimation is to use the theoretical knowledge of thermodynamics,statistical mechanics,molecular structure and molecular physical properties to correlate,in order to calculate the required physical properties with a certain accuracy within a certain range according to the known data.This paper summarizes the estimation of normal boiling point(Lydersen-Forman-Thodos,Joback,Joback modification,Constantinou-Gani,and,elements and chemical bonds method),critical properties(Guldberg,Lydersen,Joback,Klincewicz,Constantinou-Gani,Vejahati F,and elements and chemical bonds method),eccentric factors(Edmister,Lee-Kesler,Chen,and Constantinous-Gani method),van der Waals area and volume(Bondi,and elements and chemical bonds method),ideal gas standard formation enthalpy and ideal gas standard formation gibbs free energy(Joback,and Constantinous-Gani method),ideal gas heat capacity(Joback,Constantinou-Gani,and Rihani-Doraiswamy method),vapor pressure of liquid pure component(Clausius-Clapeyron equation,contrast Antoine equation,Riedel,and Li-Ma method),enthalpy of evaporation of liquid pure component(Gani,Vetere,Chen,Pitzer,and Riedel method),surface tension(Macleod-Sugden,Brock-Bird,Pitzer,and Sastri-Rao method),gas viscosity(Reichenberg,Lucas,and Chung method),liquid viscosity(Letsou-Stiel,Orrick-Erbar,and Przezdiecki-Sridhar method),gas thermal conductivity(Eucken,improved Eucken relation,and Chung method),estimation method of liquid thermal conductivity(Schefy-Johnson,Latini,Sastri,Gharagheizi,Sato-Riedel,and Nicola method).The physical properties of more than 7000 kinds of organic compounds were estimated by the method of collation.Compared with the experimental values,the average relative error and relative error distribution were calculated,and the most accurate estimation method was evaluated in general.The following is the most accurate method for estimating the physical properties:The average relative error of the normal boiling point estimated by constantinou-Gani method is 3.74%.The average relative error of critical temperature estimated by elements and chemical bonds 2 is 2.98%.The average relative errors of critical pressure and critical volume estimated by Joback method are 4.31%and 4.83%.The average relative error of the eccentricity factor estimated by Edmister method is 8.84%.The average relative errors of van der Waals area and volume estimated by Bondi method are 9.47%and 1.75%.The average relative error of ideal gas formation enthalpy estimated by Constantinou-Gani method is 16.91%.The average relative error of gibbs free energy of ideal gas generation estimated by Joback method is 23%.The average relative error of ideal gas heat capacity estimated by Constantinou-Gani method is 6.18%.The average relative error of saturated vapor pressure estimated by Riedel method is 2.79%.The average relative error of evaporation enthalpy of pure components estimated by Chen method is 9.03%.The average relative error of surface tension estimated by Sastri-Rao method is 5.33%.The average relative error of gas viscosity estimated by Lucas method is4.50%.The average relative error of liquid viscosity estimated by Letsou-Stiel method is 6.91%.The average relative error estimated by Nicola method is 2.98%.The organic compounds were divided into hydrocarbons,alcohols,acids,esters,ethers,ketones,aldehydes,nitrogen,sulfur and halogens.The advantages and disadvantages of the methods for estimated the physical properties of different kinds of organic compounds were evaluated.On the basis of the original constantinou-Gani groups,the—Cl group and four silicon-containing group:—Si H3,>Si H2,>Si H—,>Si |
