In this paper detailed study is made in braided variable cross-section preform 3D braiding machine at home and abroad, pointed out the existing 3D braiding machine is not easy to weave a variable cross-section preform. This paper design a new articles yarn, the model can realize the automatic gain with yarn or reduce yarn and by changing knitting yarn diameter to realize variable cross-section preform weaving.The article is based on researching of reducing yarn technology, It discusses realization of variable method for preform weaving section, By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of weaving method, puts forward the realization of variable cross section of preform design scheme for yarn woven articles- By varying the number of 3-D braiding machine with yarn carrying the yarn, to realize the variable cross-section preform weaving.In this paper, the design and assembly work on 3D design software Pro/e to complete the various parts of the articles yarn, Mainly includes the yarn storage device mounted scroll spring to control the yarn has a constant tension force of the utilization and the realization of automatic increase or decrease yarn device using the pulley mechanism. And through the Pro/e software has module, verify the rationality and correctness of the parts design.And for the new designed with yarn machine processing and assembly of physical prototype, in preparation for the follow-up studies.In order to realize the automatic increase or reduce yarn needs of the new articles yarn design the control system, The design mainly includes the design of hardware selection, principle diagram of control circuit and software. In this paper, the selection of microcontroller as the core control element by the drive control component to control the stepper motor operation, realize the automatic increase or reduce yarn yarn.The use of ADAMS software to automatically increase or decrease yarn device for articles for yarn simulation analysis, Verify the design articles yarn device meets the design requirements, and access to a large number of data, provide a large number of theoretical basis for the manufacturing and debugging later.
