With light and diversified textile trends, domestic and foreign set off a composite yarn spinning method craze. Composite of filament/staple could meet this market demand. Because of its special structure, Core-spun yarn attracted widespread attention, there are many advantages but also has some of the prominent issues, and therefore need to find new ways to get more excellent performance core-spun yarn.This paper designs a additional device for producing Sirospun core-spun yarn, the device has played a positive role to improve the properties of Sirospun core-spun yarn.First, by additional positioning action of the two wheels which constituting the additional device, so that the fluctuation of the composite yarn decreases; second, in order to maximize the positioning action, by adjusting the position of 2nd wheel of the additional device, twist and torque of filament and rovings which above the convergence point can be changed, so that the position of the focal point is located on the V-groove of 1st wheel, the use of V-shaped grooves to further stabilize the shape of the twisting triangle area; third, after filament and rovings twisted in stabilize positional relationship, the twist of yarn has two increments, this first fixed position and then progressively twisted yarn in a manner such that the filaments and of the distribution to be more uniform, more stable yarn quality.Secondly, the paper studies the influence of the single-factors---the pre-tension of the polyester filament, the space between the rovings, the twist of the Sirospun core-spun yarn in cotton Sirospun core-spun yarn spinning process. The change of three single-factors will varying degrees influence property indicators of polyester filament /cotton Sirospun core-spun yarn, such as Ruth length, peel resistance, breaking strength,elongation, evenness rate, hairiness.Again, through orthogonal experiment and comprehensive analysis of MATLAB software for data conducted to study the pre-tension polyester filament, roving spacing and the yarn twist produced the combined effect of the properties of yarn, through optimization experiments and analysis to obtain the optimal process parameters configuration to spun polyester filament/cotton Sirospun core-spun yarn: polyester filament pre-tension 85 c N, the space 8mm, twist to 74.1tpcm; the optimal process parameters configuration to spun polyester filament/wool Sirospun core-spun yarn:polyester filament pre-tension 90 c N, the space 15 mm, twist to 75.0tpcm.Finally, by comparing the property indicators of Sirospun core-spun yarn which used additional device, Sirospun core-spun yarn which unused additional device and the traditional core-spun yarn, discussed relationship between the structure and properties of Sirospun core-spun yarn. Because in Sirospun core-spun yarn spinning process, the two rovings maintain a certain distance, and active winding core filament, two twisting effect of above convergence point and the convergence point makes the stress in the yarn balanced, closed yarn structure, stable quality, the properties are superior to the traditional yarn, especially Ruth length and peel resistance. Sirospun core-spun yarn that used additional device are better than the properties of same kinds of yarn that unused additional device, confirmed the additional device of this paper is able to improve the properties of Sirospun core-spun yarn.
