Research And Application On Monitor Moisture Content Of Crude Oil Based On The Time Domain Transmission Technology

Time domain transmission technology is one of the most advanced technology for measurement in the world, It’s mainly used for level measurement, soil moisture measurement. In this article, we do the research and combine the Time-domain transmission technology with the crude oil moisture measurement technology, use the Time-domain transmission technology in the field of crude oil moisture measurement, and then design a high-precise monitoring instrument for crude oil moisture measurement with strong stability, safety and environmental protection.We analysed the theory basis of time domain transmission technology for measuring the crude oil moisture in this article. Firstly, we calcualated the formula for the transmission speed in the medium of electromagnetic wave, improve that the transmission speed relative to the dielectric constant of the medium. According to this truth, we designed the transducer for crude oil moisture measurement. we did the test for twenty-two sets of mixture with different rate of water and crude oil and analysed the test result, then got the linear relationship between the output voiltage of the transducer and the crude oil moisture rate.We desigend a high-precision data acquisition IC with low energy consume. We used the advanced PIC16F876 MCU as the microcontroller, selected 14 multichannel A/D the transformation chip MAX 1148 composition A/D conversion electric circuit, selected MAX232 to compose the RS232 receiving and dispatching electric circuit, selected the 24LC256 composition data storage electric circuit. The data acquisition electric circuit through the software programming, realizes every 5 seconds to gather a data. In data acquisition gap period, the software causes A/D module component to shut off, saves the electrical energy effectively.We designed the crude oil moisture content to monitor meter’s superior machine monitor software, realizes the superior machine through Visual C++ and the lower position machine serial port communication, uses the RS-232 agreement to complete the data transmission. Simultaneously designs based on the Windows platform man-machine contact surface, realizes the crude oil moisture rate online real-time monitor and the data playbacking monitor, and production report.
