Wastewater treatment process is a typical nonlinear dynamic biochemical reaction process,and has the characteristics of randomness, large delay, strong coupling, etc. The optimal control of the process could not only improve the treatment efficiency and also reduce the material and energy consumption. Therefore, it is of great significance. On the basis of IASBR technique,this paper focus on the researches about the control model of dissolved oxygen, establishment of the intelligent control system for wastewater treatment in the integrated bioreactor,improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of wastewater treatment, saving energy and reducing the cost. The main content of this paper include:(1) Through reading the relevant literature and understanding the principle on the wastewater treatment, the research situation about the control system for wastewater treatment has be analyzed, the technological characteristics and functional requirement about the control system have be summarized, and the intelligent control system based on the integrated bioreactor has been proposed.(2) The establishment of the control system combines with block-based design and embedded technology. The system involves three parts: the slave station for collection, the slave station for control, and the master station for monitoring. Each block is connected through CAN bus, and the integral system is established. The system could flexibly increase and decrease the measured parameters. Associated with different control strategy, the optimization of wastewater treatment has been achieved, and the intelligence and universality has been improved.(3) In the design of the system hardware, both the slave stations for collection and control adopt STM32 microprocessor which is based on ARM framework. For the demands of thecollection and control of the system, the detection circuit, AD conversion circuit, DA conversion circuit, relay circuit, and CAN communication circuit have been design. Thus,parameters such as the temperature, pH, DO, ORP could be online measured, and the pumps,valves, and motors could be controlled in real time. The system software mainly includes the software of the slave stations for collection and control, and the software of the master station based on WinCE6.0.(4) The adaptive fuzzy controller for dissolved oxygen has been designed. The feasibility of the fuzzy control technology for the optimized control of effluent treatment has been verified by Simulink simulation. The system has the strong adaptive capability to external disturbance and parameter variation, and excellent control quality. Therefore, the basic goals of the designed control system have been achieved.Finally, this paper made a summary of wok done, and a prediction of the application of wastewater treatment control system were discussed.
