With the rapid development of modern economy, the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious, especially heavy metal pollution of water resources. The shortage of water resources in our country, the serious river pollution, destruction of the ecosystem balance, the serious health threat to humans and other organisms. even endangering the lives and safety, are national problems and the governance of heavy metal pollution has become a problem we should solve urgently.China is rich in rare earth resources, but the extraction of rare earth resources and utilization is not perfect. Solvent extraction technique is an effective method of separation and extraction of rare earth resources. While solvent extraction is an important method for treating heavy metal pollution, and heavy metals can be enriched and separated. Therefore, this article based on pyridine designed and synthesied of two efficient and effective multi-tooth extraction agent, 2,6-bis(5,6-diProPyl-l,2,4-triazine-3-yl)Pyridine(Pro-BTP) and N,N,N’,N’-Tetraethyl-2,6-dipicolinamide(TEtDPA). Their performance extraction of heavy metal ions and rare earth ions had been investigated. The main contents are as follows: 1. This paper to 2,6-dimethyl pyridine as raw material, through the reaction of oxidation, esterification, amidation, dehydration, reduction, ring forming reaction synthesized 2,6-bis(5,6-diProPyl-l,2,4-triazine-3-yl)Pyridine and N,N,N’,N’-Tetraethyl-2,6-dipicolinamidetwo kinds of extraction agent. And characterized by the methods of IR, NMR and Single crystal X ray diffraction. 2. The extraction performance of 2,6-bis(5,6-diProPyl-l,2,4-triazine-3-yl)Pyridine on Cadmium, Nickel, Copper, Lead in nitrate system was studied. The effects of ammonia concentration in water phase, common ion effect, extractant concentration, diluent effect, extraction temperatureon the extraction of heavy metal distribution ratio were considered. The results show that, using 2,6-bis(5,6-diProPyl-l,2,4-triazine-3-yl)Pyridine as extraction agent, under the condition of controled variables, the extraction distribution ratio increases with increasing concentration of ammonia and increases with the increase of temperature, increases with increasing of sodium nitrate and increases with the increasing of extractant concentration. The extraction process was an endothermic process, and dichloromethane was suggested to be the best diluent. 3. The extraction performance of 2,6-bis(5,6-diProPyl-l,2,4-triazine-3-yl)Pyridine on Cadmium, Nickel, Copper, Leadin hydrochloride system was investigated. Extractant concentration in water phase, extraction temperature, ammonia concentration, common ion effect, diluent effect on the extraction of heavy metal distribution ratio was studied. The results show that, in hydrochloride system 2,6-bis(5,6-diProPyl-l,2,4-triazine-3-yl)Pyridine as extraction agent, the extraction distribution ratio increases with increasing of extractant concentration andincreases with the increase in temperature. Extraction process was an endothermic process. Increases with increasing concentration of ammonia and increases with the increasing in sodium chloride. Dichloromethane was selected to the best diluent. 4. The extraction performance of N,N,N’,N’-tetraethyl-2,6-dipicolinamide on rare earth elements was investigated. The influence factors of nitric acid concentration, common ion effect, extractant concentration, extraction temperature on extraction distribution ratio of rare earth was researched. The results show that, when the N,N,N’,N’-tetraethyl-2,6-dipicolinamideas extraction agent, distribution ratio increaseds with nitrate concentration distribution extraction and increases with the increase of the concentration of lithium nitrate, decreases with the increase of temperature, increases with the increasing of extractant concentration. The extraction process is an exothermic process.
