Incremental forming is a new field of sheet plastic processing technology,which has the advantage of dieless,low production costs and green environmental protection,incremental forming is widely used in sheet plastic processing.In single point incremental forming process,the uneven plate lead to forming parts prone to forming (defects such as rupture,wrinkling,rebound, and the forming efficiency is not high,and the sheet metal multi-point forming technology require a huge number of forming points controlled,and expensive equipment manufacturers.In this paper,the multi-point forming technology is combined with single point incremental forming each other,the multi-point combined forming method is putted forward,the method makes use of the high efficiency features of the multi-point forming technology and the high-precision features of the single point incremental forming,which can enhance forming efficiency,improve forming quality,more efficient sheet metal forming.This study is finished with three aspects of the system principle design,system development and forming experiment,and the main works are done as follows:the forming system control structure,the forming force detection method and the movement path of the tool head are determined on the basis of sheet metal multi-point composite incremental forming analyzed;the forming force method for data processing is confirmed by the analysis of force signal characteristics;according to the forming path planning,the control system development is completed;experimental research with the forming device and forming control system is completed.The main research results can be obtained as follows:(1) The combined forming method based on multi-point forming and single-point incremental forming of sheet metal is putted forward.The multi-point combined forming system,multi-point combined forming device structure and its working principle are elaborated;the functions of the forming control system are analyzed,the control structure of the multi-point combined forming as well as the movement path of the tool head,the detection method of forming force.(2) According to the characteristics of forming force signal,the study of the forming force detection signal processing method is carried out,through wavelet threshold de-noising improvement,the new method of signal processing based on the mean filter and wavelet transform combined is proposed.The results show that the signal-to-noise ratio of the new algorithm compared to the wavelet de-noising has improved, the method is proved to be feasible.(3) According to the forming principle and forming trajectory planning,the sheet metal multi-point forming control system based on DMC2610is designed and developed,the hardware (4) and software structure of the system are analyzed in detail,the implementation of the software functional modules are analyzed,a good user control interface is established.(5) The experimental results show the entire control system has a certain degree reliability,and the basic functions of the entire control system meets the control requirements of multi-point combined incremental forming,analyze sheet deformation and forming force change trends,and reveal the signal characteristics of the forming force.It is shown from above,these works has rich academic content in improving surface quality of sheet and processing efficiency,and will provide some available control means with high precision forming of sheet metal.
