Euphoria fischeriana Steud. is a plant of the genus Euphoriba in the family Euphor-biaceae. All stains of poisonous, it is pharmacological effect to antitumor, antimicrobial, antiviral, sedative and analgesic. Euphoria fischeriana were a kind of natural drugs which has broad applictation future in the fields of pharmaceuticals.In our investigation, the aerial part of fresh Euphoria fischeriana were extracted with EtOH, after filtration and concentrate. Then it was extracted with n-Hexane, ethyl acetate and n-Butanol, respectively, to obtain the corresponding extracts. The n-Hexane and ethyl acetate extractive of Euphoria fischeriana were isolated with column chromatography Silicagel and HPLC, find 29 compounds. They were identified with their chemical, physical properties and the spectra data of NMR. The structures were as follows: 12-deoxyphorbol-13-hexadecanoate(1),(E)-octadec-8-ene(2), β-sitosterol(3), 2,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-3-methyl-1-acetophenon-e(4),(23Z)-9,19-cycloart-23-ene-3β,25-diol(5), 24-methylenecycoartanol(6), 23(E)-25-methoxycycloart-23-en-3β-ol(7), phytol(8), obtusifoliol(9), 24-hydroperoxycycloart-25-en-3β-ol(10), 25-hydroperoxycycloart-23-en-3β-ol(11), linoleic acid glyceride(12), euphol(13), lupeol(14), 6,10,14-trimethyl-2,15-ketone(15), 3-oxo-24-methylenecycloarane(16), cycloeucalenol(17), pseudotaraxasterol(18), jolkinolide A(19), butyrospermol(20), 24-methylenecycloartane-3,28-diol(21),(13α,14β,17α,20R)-lanosta-7,24-diene-3β-O-acetate(22), gallic acid(23), pheophorbide methyl ester(24), 2-methyl-2,3,4-trihydro-xybutanoic acid-1,4-lactone(25), gallic acid methyl ester(26), quercetin(27), scopoletin(28), DL-epilo liolide(29). Compounds 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 18, 21, 25, 29 were isolated from Euphorbia fischeriana for the first time. Compounds 8, 17, 18, 25, 29 were isolated from the genus Euphorbia the first time.In order to study the toxic spurge triterpene compounds in anti-tumor activity, determined by MTT method, tested the 10compounds(compounds 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21) inhibition of HepG2 and SKOV3.Antibacterial activity test conducted n-hexane、ethyl acetate extract.
