Cable belt conveyor is an important type of over-distance belt conveyors,it is more widely used in the coal industry.It has excellent transporting properties:long single transporting length;large transporting capacity;low horsepower and less power consumption;operate steadily and smoothly;in the many circumstances where a straight line route or one incorporating curves is feasible,and the unit known as an angle station is employed;besides it is easy to realize the automation and environmental protection.The first GD cable belt conveyor was born in China since 1965,it has a history of more than 50 years.But in recent years the development of GD cable belt conveyor remained stagnant,Some enterprises has eliminated or replaced them already,while it still has an important value in the over-distance conveying,therefore GD cable belt conveyor is in an urgent need to be optimized and improved.The thesis points out defects of the GD cable belt conveyor in design,manufacture and employment,proposes improved optimization scheme for its unique parts,which are different from conventional belt conveyor.Including improving the belt to prevent it from taking off;analyzing the cables reverse-sliding mechanism,and putting forward the thought that reverse-sliding leads to broken-cable rapidly;replacing the DC speed control technology of the anti-explosion AC variable frequency speed control technology;adding anti-reverse device system for GD cable belt conveyor,the core component of anti-reverse device system is the double wedges semi-automatic steel rope clamp.Morever using three dimensional modeling software Solidworks to establish three-dimensional model of the double wedges semi-automatic steel rope clamp,using the finite element analysis software ANSYS on the dynamic mechanical analysis,using ANSYS post-treatment software on the transient dynamic analysis,to prove the certain feasibility and development of the anti-reverse device system.GD cable belt conveyors can be improved via optimizing the scheme,and get a further development and utilization on over-distance conveying in the future,based on the applicability,reliability and economy’s improvement.
