With the rapid development of China’s economy and modern industry, the amount of municipal solid waste is increasing year by year, and the problem of garbage surrounded city is becoming more and more obvious, which is more and more seriously harm to the living environment. The traditional landfill, composting and incineration technology are difficult to meet the requirements of increasingly stringent environmental protection for a large number of MSW’s disposal, meanwhile, the traditional waste disposal technology of waste energy utilization is low and the process is not complete. Use of dry cement kiln co-processing of MSW technology not only completely disposal waste and effectively solve the problem of environmental pollution, but also provide fuel and raw materials for cement production, and further improve energy efficiency, which is research and development direction of waste disposal.This paper analyzes the current situation of municipal solid waste disposal and the progress of waste disposal technology. It analyzes the feasibility of using a new type of cement dry kiln co-processing of MSW by studying the production of cement kiln systems, cement clinker performance and impact on the ecological environment. Combined with the actual cement kiln co-processing of municipal solid waste projects, several sets of programs designed to optimize, and Obtain using of "grate + cement kiln" co-processing is an ideal solution, which can effectively achieve waste minimization, harmless, treatment resources,and has a good sense of demonstration and promotion.
