In recent years lacquer with its unique advantages has more extensive application in wall decorationpaint paint. However, in practical applications lacquer also emerged such as poor water and alkali resistance, poor stain resistance and many other problems, The issue from the perspective of improving the water resistance of lacquer, The main research on water-resistant of styrene-acrylic emulsion, Styrene-acrylic emulsion plays an important role for water resistance of lacquer, from improving the water-whitening resistance of Styrene-acrylic emulsion to improving the water resistance of lacquer, Emulsion polymerization temperature, the glass transition temperature of the monomer,functional monomer acrylic acid (AA) content,the type and content of emulsifier, the type and content of the crosslinking monomer each impact on the performance of emulsion in order to determine the most suitable emulsion polymerization process, and use this emulsion prepared lacquer, All the indicators of lacquer have reached the standard.From the experimental data show:in the emulsion preparation process, the optimum temperature for the preparation is 85 ℃; The most suitable glass transition temperature is 10 ℃;The most appropriate content of the functional monomer AA is 2%, The most suitable emulsifier type and content is 2% of DNS-86; Crosslinking monomer NMA, DAAM+ADHand silane coupling agent A-151 all can improve the water resistance of the emulsion, The most suitable content respectively:NMA is 2%, DAAM+ADH complex system is 3%, A-151 is 5%, Three kinds cross-linking monomer prompting Water-white time of emulsion respectively:NMA is 4h, DAAM+ ADH complex system is 3h, A-151 is 4h.Using the emulsion prepare lacquer, excellent coating properties obtained, alkali resistance, initial drying crack resistance can meet the target, wherein the drying time is 3h, coating bond-strength achieved, particularly water resistance have a relatively large increase.
