| The scale of modern livestock breeding is continuously expanding, lead to a serious gap between agriculture and animal husbandry. The excessive livestock breeding manure can not be consumed by farm-scale use, seriously affecting the benign circulation of suburb and agro-ecological environment function. Livestock manure is a pollutant and also an important organic plant nutrition resource too. Subject to Chinese regional differences and appropriate technical limitations, the efficiency of manure resources reuse is relatively low.An overview of the pollution status of livestock and poultry manure and its handling methods were put forward. The importance of excreta disposal was discussed, and a few point for excreta disposal measures were issued. Through the analysis of manures harm to the environment and its resources features, resource recovery in harmless way was proposed, and the ideas of future research directions and development trends were also brought forward. |
