As the basic power unit of turbodrill, the parameter of blade will dynamically determine turbodrill performance. In order to test the reasonableness of blade’s design and reduce test costs, it is necessary to take the test program which predict the overall performance of the turbine drill from fewer stages blade test. Therefore, to meet the needs of research and production, the main purpose of this research is the development of a new computer-automated collection and monitoring turbodrill blade performance test system for range sizes.Firstly, based on the basic theory of test system, combined with research status and site conditions of turbodrill performance test, research work of turbodrill blade performance test system is conducted; On this basis, system’s working principle and function are theoretical studied, conversion formulas of the overall performance and parameters under different flow are derived; the technical requirements and performance characteristics of the test system is determined, the research is divided into the mechanical structure design, measurement and control development, and real machine test to conduct further research.Secondly, based on the principle of mechanical drawing and mechanical design, mechanical structure of the overall test system is designed, all parts’engineering drawings are completed by using AutoCAD, the model selection and calculating of main components are analyzed; under the use of SolidWorks and Workbench, static and dynamic characteristics analysis of spindle are completed, deformation, stress distribution, natural frequencies, mode shapes, critical speed and harmonic response analysis are studied to ensure that the test bench security and stability in the testing process.Thirdly, the design and development of measurement and control part are conducted. Connection, design model selection, and calibration of each measurement control unit are completed; DLL prepared by VC and LabVIEW2012are combined to develop test software which is divided into data acquisition module and curves output module; antijamming scheme is proposed to improve the precision interference.Finally, assembly and tuning of overall test system are completed; in the combination with the actual underground working conditions a detailed test plan and procedures are designed, two different type blade of0127turbodrill are selected to preform test, test content, data, and performance curve are analyzed and drawn; the experimental results show that the test system developed in this research is stable, accuracy, and easy to operate, which provides a complete and effective solution program to test turbodrill blade performance and correctness of design.
