The Precious Stone Decoration With The Integration Of Modern Clothing Design Research

Taking the principle of concise as precondition, this thesis endows fashion design with a brand new spiritual implication by following the fashion design semantics. The integrated design which combines clothing and accessories has resulted in innovation of concept and expression, and formed a new clothing style. This style amis at getting an artistic sublimation in designing and processing.Guided by the principle of proceeding from the concrete to the abstract, from the whole to the details, from the particular to the general, this thesis pays great attention to the collision and fusion of art of precious stones with the modern fashion design. The author studied the ancient Chinese and foreign clothing and accessories, especially, those for some Chinese ethnic groups and analyzed the integration and development of clothing and accessories for these Chinese ethnic groups. Taking some typical Chinese ethnic groups as examples, the author analyzed the characteristics of integration of clothing and all decorations for Tibetan people, stone decoration worship elements for Manchu Shaman and silver work as main decoration for the people living in the southwestern China. Nowadays, the marriage of clothing and accessories can also be seen in the performance costume. No longer separated,the clothing and accessories are becoming more and more integrated.In the texture study of precious stone, the focus is on agate. Agate is a kind of semiprecious stone with the most outstanding artistic expression. Its unique style, rich variety,various patterns and gorgeous colors and luster is most suited to be combined with clothing,so as to show the new style of integrated design and thus its best artistic expression. This thesis analyzes the application of precious stone accessories in the clothing of modern style,studies the integration of the artistic expression of precious stone and fashion, and also studies the design concept of integration of clothing and accessories in different clothing partial design. The final design will present an innovative design of integration of agate and clothing.Such design not only increases the value of the clothing itself but also changes the performance of combination of clothing and accessories.
