This paper is about a direct electric driving pressure compensation strategy without valve or pump controlling which is used in the pressure control system of diamond press. And the related direct electric-drive type pressure synchronous control system is designed to make up for the defects existing in the traditional hydraulic system and meet the pressure conditions in the process of diamond synthesis. This system is mainly used in the stages of supplement pressure and keeping pressure, when the system needs to work in the precise positioning and maintaining pressure, the direct electric driving pressure compensation control method is used, while in other stages the conventional hydraulic control technique is still adopted.The principle and composition of the direct electric driving pressure control system is detailed. And its application in the d iamond press pressure control system is introduced. The mathematical model of the system is established and its d ynamic and static characteristics are analyzed through MATLAB/Simulink.An improved pressure synchronous control mode, the weighted average deviation coupling control method, is designed for the triple-channel pressure control system based on the motor synchronization control algorithm. And the related pressure compensation controller based on the PID and fuzzy PID algorithm is devised and simulated by MTALAB/Simulink.The experimental platform of the pressure control system is designed and set up according to the dynamic and static analysis results of the system. The experiment system uses four axis analog motion control board Spii Plus PCI as its controller and takes Lab VIEW as its control platform. The results show that the direct electric driving pressure control system has a fast response speed, high pressure control precision and has a good pressure synchronous control effect achieving the design requirements. At last some improvement methods to improving the shortcomings of the experimental system are put forward.
