Non-ferrous metal of lead and zinc are always the indispensable foundation metal in construction of national economy. They are always the prioritize metal all over the world. For the complicated structure and dissemination relationship of sulfide Pb-Zn deposit, the separation between galena and sphalerite becomes difficult. Therefore, the key of the effective concentration is the separation between galena and sphalerite, which has been a hot research area in mineral processing. This paper’s research object is Pb-Zn multi-metal complex ore with rare metal. Explore the mineral processing flowsheet and flotation parameters through the laboratory test. This could be a certain guiding significance for the experimental research for Pb-Zn multi-metal complex ore with rare metal.The ore studied in this paper is supported by Yunnan Chang Yi Mineral Co.. According to the process mineralogy research, it belongs to sulfide Pb-Zn mixed ore, which contains fifteen kinds minerals including sulfide, oxide, silicate, carbonate, phosphate and sulfate. The objective minerals are galena and sphalerite, which take the 1.7% and 12.5% of the total mineral. The main gangue minerals are quartz, dolomite, which take the 48% and 26%. Meanwhile, the pyrite of 4% containing would influence the final concentration. The grade of lead and zinc in run-of-mine was respectively 1.46% and 8.98%. Galena and sphalerite are the sole objective minerals of the each kinds. There are rich objective minerals like In, Ge, Ga and a little Ag, and also harmful element Cd. They occur in isomorphism distribution in the sulphdes of lead,zinc, and concentration with galena and sphalerite.On the basis of process mineralogy research, the paper carried on the principle flowsheet of selective flotation and bulk flotation-selective flotation. The selective flotation flowsheet is determined and research of condition tests are taken to ensure the best reagent system and operating parameters.According to the open-circuit, the flowsheet of galena using the process of one rougher, three cleaners and a scavengers; sphalerite using one rougher, three cleaners and one scavengers process. And closed-circuit could get two kinds of qualified concentrate containing:the grade of lead concentrate is 56.21%, grading zinc 5.49% in and recovery of 89.02%; the grade of zinc concentrate is 45.88%, grading lead 0.76% in and recovery of 97.53%. The recovery of Ag in galena could reach 57.4%, and Ge, Ga, In could get each recovery of 90.15%.82.24%.93.07%. The element Cd also could among 94.76%, thus conform to the comprehensive utilization of resources.
