The traditional diet culture is an important part of the Chinese culture. It is concentrated expression of the mode of production and lifestyle for thousands of years. It represents a nation’s spirit and temperament. As a documentary, "on the tip of the tongue" uses quick and easy rhythm of narration, exquisite and delicate picture, to present the making and inheritance of traditional China diet, and its rich cultural connotation.This paper will try to analysis the traditional diet culture of the China "on the tip of the tongue" by means of perspective of folklore.
